Evening Meals available for 2010We are offering evening meals this year on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, using organic meat, island venison, locally caught fish and our own home grown vegetables and salads . Wherever possible all ingredients are organic. Having cooked at a local Bistro, Jen will bring some of this experience to the table and prepare home cooked meals from a fixed menu. As we only have the two bedrooms you may well be sharing your evening meal with our other guests at the communal dining table. We ask that you let us know the day before if you would like to dine the next evening, Mike will give you the menu if it coincides with one of the days we are cooking an evening meal. If you are due to arrive on one of the days meals are being served and would like an evening meal we can email you the menu and you can let us know back if you would like to dine with us that evening. 2 course dinner is £17 per person (either starter and main OR main and dessert). 3 course dinner is available if requested @ £22 per person. We are able to cater for dairy free diets and can offer a vegetarian option if you let us know in advance. Sweet potato & Red Pepper Soup, Steak and Ale Pie, Fruit Crumble served with Cream or Ice Cream. Mull cheddar & Cauliflower Soup, Spicy Lamb Meat balls with a tomato and courgette sauce served with pasta, Profiteroles. Tomato & Mozarella salad, Salmon Parcels, Cranachan. Smoked Mackerel pate, Chicken breast stuffed with cheese and Mango chutney, Fresh fruit tartlet. Leek & Potato Soup, Stuffed loin of Pork with a Cranberry and Madiera gravy, Lemon Meringue Pie. Pate & Oatcakes, Onion Quiche with salad, Pavlova with fresh fruit. Fresh tomato soup, Fish Pie with Smoked Haddock, Salmon and scallops, Bakewell tart served with Cream or Ice Cream. All served with fresh seasonal vegetables from our own organic garden. The menu will change over the Summer to suit the weather and what is seasonally available.
